SABIC shares, a subsidiary of SABIC or Saudi International Petrochemical Company, were listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange on May 20, 2020, and merged with Sahara Petrochemical Company and created a new entity called “Sahara International Petrochemical Company”.

The company was established on December 22, 1999, and its current capital is 3.3 billion Saudi riyals. SABIC actively invests in the petrochemical and basic and intermediate chemical industries to produce materials used in the manufacture of many products that improve human living standards around the world. SABIC produces one million tons of methanol and 75,000 tons of butane annually.
