Ruling on Bitcoin Trading in Iraq
After we learned about the ruling on Bitcoin trading in Iraq according to Ibn Baz's opinion, it is worth noting the opinion of the four schools of thought on the same subject, especially with the increasing demand for the use of these digital currencies and the desire of many people to know the ruling on using and investing in these currencies.

But it is worth clarifying that these digital currencies are newly developed currencies that did not exist in ancient times, and therefore there are no fatwas directly related to them in any of the four schools of thought, but rather all existing fatwas are standard fatwas on similar matters, and the efforts of fatwa committees and contemporary scholars in each Muslim country, and therefore opinions differed on the ruling on Bitcoin trading in Iraq between permissibility and prohibition.
Some scholars have permitted dealing with these encrypted currencies as a form of technological development and keeping pace with the modern era, and some have prohibited their use and linked this to the extent of the availability of legal requirements and controls in them so that their use is permissible and safe for both parties, the seller and the buyer.
While a group of jurists and scholars preferred to remain silent on this issue and not express any opinion regarding the use of encrypted digital currencies due to the lack of sufficient information and studies about them so that any legal fatwa about them would be based on real evidence from their point of view.
