Raw materials for embossed galvanized roofing sheet
1. Reinforcement materials
The reinforced materials commonly used for FRP boards are glass cloth, untwisted glass roving, and chopped glass fiber felt.
Untwisted glass roving: the untwisted glass roving used in continuous FRP corrugated forming process should have good cutting, dispersion, branch infiltration, no or little static electricity generation.
At present, the specifications of the chopped glass fiber mat commonly used in China are EMC300, EMC450 and EMC600. It has the characteristics of uniform density, good permeability, no pollution, weather resistance and light transmittance. (Powder felt is usually chosen)
2. Resin matrix
Continuous FRP corrugated plate forming process mostly uses unsaturated polyester resin (UP) resin, has high mechanical strength, good weather resistance and impact resistance, but also has a low shrinkage rate and appropriate viscosity, in order to have good impregnation of glass fiber, bubble discharge.
3. Film
Continuous FRP corrugated plate forming film requirements, smooth surface, no wrinkles outside. The most important is to have a high tensile strength and a certain heat resistance, to ensure that the corrugated plate forming process film does not deform, according to the FRP use of film can be divided into process film and anti aging film two.

4. Other auxiliary materials
The auxiliary materials used in the formulation of the resin for FRP sheet include initiators, accelerators, pigment paste, ultraviolet absorbers, etc. The initiator is now commonly used peroxide methyl ethyl ketone, promoting agent for cobalt isooctanoate solution, so that the corrugated plate color and lustre is pure, especially so that the transmittance of transparent plate as high as 87 percent of the above.
