Hi everybody,
I am building a workstation to be a home storage server and data processing. I plan to use the Dell SAS-SATA PERC H730P RAID card to run RAID 5 or RAID 10 for data security.
Has anyone here used this card line? I want to ask a few things:

Has anyone here used this card line? I want to ask a few things:
- Will this card work well when plugged into a regular PC motherboard (PCIe x8 slot) or does it have to be a Dell server?
- Are actual read/write speeds with SATA SSDs bottlenecked?
- Does this card get hot? Do I need to add a cooling fan if installed in a normal PC case?
